PoC電感簡介Brief Introduction
PoC is the abbreviation for Power over Coax, a transmission method that overlays power on the signal cable, eliminating the need for a separate power cable. PoC is used in automotive and industrial equipment, with applications in ADAS and surround-view cameras in automobiles, helping to simplify wiring design and reduce the weight of wire harnesses. In industrial equipment, PoC is used for external inspection cameras and other purposes. Spacious production lines require longer cables, but by using PoC, the number of cables can be reduced, and the wiring can be simplified.
In vehicle applications, SerDes*2 devices are increasingly used for PoC (Power over Coax) applications to achieve lightweighting by transmitting video data and power for vehicle cameras over a single coaxial cable. In the past, PoC required multiple inductors with large and small values to process signals over a wide frequency range and maintain high impedance for signal separation and power delivery. However, the ACW3225 series can replace the need for multiple inductors with just one, which contributes to the overall system's miniaturization, space-saving, and reduced total DC impedance.
